WE BELIEVE

The Word of God

God has given us His word in the pages of the Authorized King James Bible. We believe the King James Bible is the inherent, infallible, inspired, and preserved, Word of God to the English speaking people, and that it is the final Authority in all matters of faith and practice.

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Psalms 119:89

Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Salvation

We believe that man was created in the image of God in the Garden of Eden, but through the disobedience of Adam all men now inherit a sin nature (Romans 5:12a),  and because of that sin the entire human race is now destined for an eternity in Hell (Romans 5:12b, Romans 6:23a). But God in His mercy and grace, sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to be the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind (Romans 5:8).

We believe that in order for one to enter into the Kingdom of God, one must be born again (John 3:5-6), and one must trust Jesus Christ and Him alone as their personal Savior to get to Heaven (John 14:6). Salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary over two thousand years ago.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eternal Security

Jesus meant what He said in John 10:28, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Baptism

After one accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, they are to be baptized by immersion as an act of obedience to God. It has nothing to do with the obtaining of one’s salvation. It simply pictures what Christ did in His death, burial and resurrection. (Acts 8:26-38)

Holy Trinity

God is a Person. He is eternal (in His existence). He is the only true and living God in the unity of the Godhead. They are three eternal, co-equal Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, the great three in one.

I Corinthians 8:6

But to us there be but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Colossians 2:9

For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Matthew 3:16-17

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water; and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ himself will come in an hour when we think not to catch His waiting bride away to meet Him in the air (Luke 12:40). All those that have not accepted Jesus Christ and the payment that He made for their sin on the cross of Calvary will be left behind and will go through a period called the Tribulation.

I Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Separation from the World

The Bible teaches that Christians, those that have been born again, are to live a life that is separate from the world unto God. Not as the monk that is secluded in a monastery, but as one that is different from the world. We believe that Christians are to live holy, consecrated lives unto God.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore is any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And will be a Father unto you; and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
