Pastor Moore

Joe and Sarah _edited.png

Joseph Moore was born on August 6, 1987, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where his father was pastoring.   His father is an old-fashioned, fundamental, King James Bible preaching, Baptist preacher.

At the age of five years, Pastor Moore trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and on April 20, 2010, he surrendered his life to Christ to preach the Gospel.  He attended Commonwealth Baptist College and served as an assistant pastor at Hillside Baptist Church in Hixson, TN, for one year.

In May of 2011, he married Sarah Fae, and God has blessed them with a beautiful family.  In January, 2015, he and his family surrendered to go into the field of evangelism.   Pastor Moore has taken part in Tent Revivals, Teen Meetings, Conferences and Revival Meetings.  He has filled the pulpit for several pastors as well.

On April 25, 2021, Joseph Moore was voted in as the Pastor of Roundtown Baptist Church.  He began his ministry there on Sunday, May 2, 2021.  He has served as the full-time pastor ever since.  Pastor Moore uses the Word of God to encourage, inspire and uplift the people that attend Roundtown Baptist Church.  The Gospel is preached and opportunity to trust Christ is given every service.  Pastor Moore loves the Lord Jesus and depends on God to build His church.  He is faithful in winning souls to Christ, visiting the sick, and doing whatever needs to be done to get folks under the preaching of God’s Word.

Pastor Moore believes the King James Bible to be the inherent, infallible, inspired, preserved, Word of God to the English-speaking people.

  • He believes in the Biblical account of creation.

  • He believes in the Holy Trinity.

  • He believes that Jesus Christ is the perfect Son of God, and believing in Him is the only way to obtain eternal salvation.

  • He believes in the eternal security of the believer.

  • He believes that after a person accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, they are to be baptized.

  • He believes that a child of God is to live a holy, consecrated life and should separate himself from the world.

  • He believes that the rapture will take place prior to the tribulation.
